How It Works

Once you choose a design plan option, you will receive a phone call to discuss your landscape goals and basic information of your gardening. Sarah explains the design process and goes over design pricing. We schedule the first in-person consultation.

During the consultation we walk through the areas that are of most important to you. We discuss different plant options, styles, colors and flow of function. We discuss your overall landscape budget and goals. Sarah takes any additional site analysis (measurements & pictures). Duration is 1-2 hours. At the end, a $300 Consultation Fee is due. If a design is requested, this fee becomes a deposit toward your final invoice.

Sarah goes to work customizing a conceptual or landscape design, based on the 1st Consultation. This process takes 2-3 weeks from the initial on-site visit.

A second meeting is scheduled to review the design. This meeting can be in-person or virtual. This meeting is scheduled for at least 1 hour.

Sarah explains the overall concept and how the plants are laid out. Small edits such as a few plant swaps and plant name changes can be done at this time. At the end of the meeting, payment for the design will be due. Any major revisions requiring extensive time (example - a complete redesign of a flower bed) will be an additional cost.

Once payment is received, your “Design Package” is delivered either in person or via email. In the “Design Package” you will receive your to-scale 2D-Landscape Plan, any renders created to illustrate the plan as well as contact information for recommended landscape partners and a personalized watering and “Care Guide.”
